Ni Base Superallys

CAST AND HEAT TREATED SINGLE CRYSTAL TESTING BAR (EX. 10MMD). ACCORDING TO THE ORDER RECEIVED, WE CAN MAKE MOLD IN THE REQUIRED FORM (E.G. A BAR OR A PLATE), AND CAN CAST THE MATERIAL USING THE FABRICATED MOLD

Sales recommendation products (SC, DS, CC)

1. LoopTHERM Alloys: eg. LTSS2, LTSS3A, LTSS3B, LTSS-4, LTSS-4A, LTSS5, LTWS and others

2. Commercial alloys (expect the alloys currently protected by their patents): eg. CMSX-2 and CMSX-4

Sales recommendation for equipment

A. Directional solidiffication furnaces for casting of SC/DS alloys

B. Ultra-high temperature rapid cooling vacuum heat treatment furnaces. 400ºC/min. of maximum cooling rate is available. Running cost is low, since high frequency induction heating is adopted, and the heating element consumes power.

2nd Generation SC Superalloy
LTSS-2
  • Creep strength 30ºC higher than CMSX-4 (at 137.2MPa).
  • Large heat treatment window for simple heat treatment.
  • Very good high temperature corrosion resistance.
  • Suitable for turbine blades and vanes.
3rd Generation SC Superalloy
LTSS-3A/LTSS-3B
  • Contains 3wt% Cr and 5wt% Re.
  • Creep rupture lives: 196 hours (900ºC/392MPa)/1526 hours (1040ºC/137MPa)
  • Good hot corrosion resistance.
4th Generation SC Superalloy
LTSS-4/LTSS-4A
  • Ruthenium additions.
  • Excellent high temperature creep strengths, microstructural stability and hot corrosion.
5th Generation SC Superalloy
LTSS-5
  • Contains 5wt% Ru and 4.6wt% Cr.
  • Good micro structural stability with excellent combinations of resistance against creep, thermo mechanical fatigue and oxidation
Ni-Co Base Superalloy
LTWS
  • Age hardenable by precipitation of a gamma prime second phase and can be produced by casting and wrought (C&W) process.
  • LTWS alloy has improved strength and creep resistance over current C&W alloys.
  • Potential applications include gas turbine discs and blades.
  • LTWS alloy is available in ingots, billets, forged round bars, hot-rolled plated, etc.
